For couples & households
One budget. Both of you. No extra charge.
Sharing a household is included on every Tavera Money plan — including the free one — because two people trying to agree about money is the normal case, not a premium feature. Your spending pools into one budget, your net worth combines, and there is no per-person charge to pay.
One pool, not two
Your spending lands in the same budget
When either of you spends on groceries, it comes off the same grocery line. There is no reconciling two apps at the end of the month, and no argument about whose column something belongs in — the budget simply shows what the household spent.
- Budgets pool everyone’s spending against one limit
- Net worth combines every account either of you holds
- Goals show one household total, however you both contribute

The monthly conversation
A month-end recap you can actually sit down with
The hardest part of sharing money is the conversation, and it usually goes badly because nobody has the facts. The recap gives you a single, neutral account of what happened: what came in, what went out, which categories went over, and what to do about it next month.
- Over-budget categories ranked worst first, with repeat offenders flagged
- Three ways to settle a shortfall, each previewed before you commit
- When you come out ahead, it names the debt or goal to point it at

Fair by default
Everyone sees everything, nobody edits your entries
Both of you get your own login and see the whole picture — accounts, transactions, budgets, goals and debts. You can only edit the transactions you added yourself, so nothing changes under you. And if things change, leaving a household takes your data with you rather than leaving it behind.
- Individual logins, one shared financial picture
- Invitations are sent by email and expire after seven days
- Leaving gives you a fresh personal household with your data intact

One thing to know before you invite someone
There is no way to keep part of your finances private inside a household — everyone sees every account and every transaction. That is a deliberate trade for a genuinely shared picture, but it means you should only invite someone you're happy sharing everything with. If you want separate spending money, the usual approach is a personal account each that simply isn't added to Tavera Money.
Questions
Sharing a budget, answered
Does sharing cost extra?
No. Household sharing is included on every plan, including the free one. One subscription covers everyone in the household, and if you are on a paid plan the bank connection limit applies to your combined total rather than to each person.
Can we keep some things private from each other?
Not currently. Everyone in a household sees all of the household accounts, transactions, budgets, goals and debts. Only invite someone you intend to share your complete financial picture with.
What happens to my data if we split up?
Leaving a household takes your data with you into a fresh personal household — nothing is deleted and nothing is left behind for the other person to keep. The data you brought in leaves with you.
Can we each have our own login?
Yes, and you should. Each person has their own account and password; the household is what joins them. Everyone can see everything, but you can only edit the transactions you added yourself.
Do we both need to connect our banks?
You can connect as many or as few as you like — the household shares one pool of connections. On Plus that is five banks between you, on Premium it is unlimited, and on the free plan you would add accounts manually.
